As I sold out of my redwork towels, I reordered from a different company and just got the new blank toweling yesterday...they are very nice, heavy and even have a loop on one corner for hanging.....better than I have been getting so guess I'm stepping up a little....I also found a great site for vintage transfers..and ordered these cute baby bird transfers from Pattern Bee...I am very much akin to the owner as I love vintage designs just as she does....and I think its a great things she is doing, making transfers from these old designs...they are especially good for redwork..

I wish I had known years ago and bought tons of the transfers at the 5 and 10 cent store when I was younger....who knew they'd get so scarce? I miss the old 5 and 10 cent stores with their aisles and wooden floors...there was one in my husbands home town we used to go when we visited...it had a certain smell that should have been bottled....a mixture of candy smells, candles, waxes, and something I can't define....they had an old fashioned cash register and sold a little bit of everything ......it was fun to explore...I think its a Dollar store now with cheap overseas imports.
